The three French vans are back in France. On the 2002-12-01 they sent the following e-mail:

Hi, We are at home since four days. We crossed:

• India in 6 days.
• Pakistan in 4 days.
• Iran in 5 days.
• Turkey in 5 days.
• Istanbul to home in 4 days.

All without problems.

The rest of the Anglophones are now in Pakistan. On the 2002-12-01 they sent the following e-mail:

We are now in Mirpur Mathelo, near Sukkur in Pakistan.
Not much time to write but we're getting very good hospitality and a lot of firepower support, mainly from armed fuel pump attendants!
Making very slow progress as the roads are dead busy. Only averaging 40kph.
Will write at more length later.
